After much controversy I have come up with the conclusion that things realistically aren't going to change anytime soon. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 2 million members and supporters.
http://www.peta.org/ launched its anti-fur campaign years ago, starting up with a few celebrity icons that have helped bring attention to the whole process of obtaining an article of fur.
The strong motto: "I'd rather go naked then wear fur" has gained international exposure but regardless of what they say, believe or think this season on and off the runway fur has most definitely played a part.
